Who We Train

We deliver training for organisations and run regular clinical workshops for certified therapists. We also have several programmes aimed at survivors. Some of the groups we delivered training to in 2024 include those working in:

  • Therapists & other mental health professionals

  • The Justice system (e.g. court services, DPP)

  • Professionals working directly with survivors (e.g. nurses, social workers, solicitors)

Our Approach

One in Four delivers professional development training for counsellors, therapists, social workers and other professionals who work in a range of sectors. Our trainers have years of experience working in the field of child sexual abuse and bring their expertise to each session. We tailor our courses to meet the specific needs of the organisations and professionals we train.

To ensure our in-person, online and self-paced video trainings are engaging, relevant and effective we utilise our own and the participants’ experience, group discussion, role play and case studies.

Consultation, Guidance and Resources

One in Four’s senior leadership team also provides consultation services and guidance on trauma-informed policies and resources.

Testimonials

“What I found particularly useful was the relational approach of the lecturers. They were highly attuned to the group and created a safe, supportive environment where participants felt genuinely able to explore and engage. Their ability to connect on a human level made the training feel both grounded and meaningful, and encouraged open reflection and shared learning.”

“The trainers brought their first hand, extensive experience which cannot be replicated by books.”
