PRESS RELEASE 3rd NOVEMBER 2025: Secret Art Sale to benefit survivors of child sexual abuse
Anonymous Art, Visible Impact
Irish charity One in Four, which provides adult survivors of child sexual abuse with mental health and legal advocacy services, is once again collaborating with award-winning artists for its annual Secret Art Sale. This year, for the first time, the organizers have introduced a theme for the sale’s pieces, Seize the Day, to emphasize resilience, optimism, and transformation. Beginning on Monday, November 3rd, One in Four will be launching a user-friendly online store on their website selling stunning artwork for a surprisingly affordable price of €60, and your purchase will directly fund healing services for survivors.
Dozens of talented creators from Ireland and the UK have donated their beautiful creations to the Art Sale this year, and One in Four is honoured to have contributions from several award-winning artists, as well. These include: Kevin Callaghan, who was selected to represent Ireland in The Ceramic Context Biennale in Bornholm Art Museum in 2018; Claudine O’ Sullivan, whose commercial clients include Jameson Whiskey, Apple, and MTV; and equally accomplished artists Laura Cramer, Zsolt Basti, Bex Shelford, Carl Strickland, Gareth McConnell, and Orla Walsh.
But there’s a twist: you won’t know the artist of the work you buy until it is delivered! Even with this surprise element, one cannot go wrong with anything the Art Sale offers, as their contributors consist of acclaimed international artists, emerging creators, art students, and illustrators whose talent and generosity fuels the success of this recurring event.
This continued success stems from the Secret Art Sale’s unique three-pronged benefit to those involved: buyers take home exceptional art at affordable prices, artists find new fans of their work, and survivors gain high-quality therapy and assistance from One in Four. Your purchase from the 2025 Secret Art Sale directly contributes to the recovery and healing that survivors deserve.

ABOUT ONE IN FOUR:
Since 2003, One in Four has been a listening ear, a support, a refuge, a lifeline.
One in Four provides professional psychotherapy and advocacy support to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) and their families. There are different psychotherapy programmes for clients depending on their needs including individual therapy sessions and group programmes for survivors or family/supporters of the survivor. Additionally, the psychotherapy team runs a prevention programme through individual and group sessions for people who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour as a core element of child protection.
One in Four’s Advocacy Programme supports survivors with practical guidance around engaging with the criminal justice system and civil litigation. Every case is different and every client has different needs. The advocacy team’s approach is survivor-led and provides support on their terms rather than guiding their actions.
One in Four is also involved in awareness raising and influencing decision making relating to child sexual abuse at Government policy level. We coordinate with other stakeholders within the sexual violence and child protection sectors to support victims’ rights and ensure survivor experiences are reflected in decision making.
