Neurofeedback Training (NFT) Practitioner

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Neurofeedback Practitioner will be responsible for delivering neurofeedback sessions as part of our clinical therapeutic offering. Working closely with our clinical team, you will assess client needs, develop tailored neurofeedback protocols, and monitor client progress to support emotional regulation, nervous system balance, and trauma recovery. This role requires a practitioner who combines technical expertise with deep empathy and sensitivity to the complex needs of trauma survivors. The successful candidate must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience working with adults in the area of complex trauma.
  • A minimum level 8 qualification in a mental health field.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency with technology.
  • Personal resilience and ability to work with clients from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Ability to master new tech systems.
  • Ability to reflect on practice in order to facilitate personal learning, professional development, and service improvement.
  • Ability to foster good working relationships with external agencies and organisations.

Psychotherapist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Clinical Director, the newly appointed Psychotherapist will join the team working across both the survivor and prevention programmes. They will provide long-term depth psychotherapy, and more targeted and structured counselling interventions to survivors, based on their clinical needs and presentation. They will also provide individual and group therapeutic risk management interventions to those who have committed sexual offences against children and co-facilitate psycho-educational support groups to family members impacted by sexual abuse. The successful candidate must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant post-accreditation experience working with adults.
  • An accredited qualification in psychotherapy recognised by IACP/ICP or recognised professional post-graduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (applicants must be eligible for Chartered Membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland).
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence.
  • Flexibility and ability to demonstrate evidence-based approaches in ways of engaging with service users.
  • Experience working in the area of trauma.
  • Personal resilience and ability to work with clients from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Ability to reflect on practice in order to facilitate personal learning, professional development and service improvement.
  • Ability to foster good working relationships with external agencies and organisations.
