Record your oral history

Why take part?

Survivors’ voices are rarely found in the historical records. Recording how you have lived with the impact of child sexual abuse will create a better understanding of past experiences and help shape current services to meet victim-survivor needs. We do not expect you to share the details of the abuse, we are more interested in your life journey. We will recognise, value and preserve your experiences. We will link you to confidential peer support with our partner Survivors Voices.

Am I eligible?

Adults with lived experience of any form of child sexual abuse living in Ireland, England, Scotland or Wales can take part. We want our research to reflect many voices — contact us so we can include yours.

Focus of study

Help us to find out about the different ways survivors have understood trauma and found ways of living with the impact of child sexual abuse.
