How professionals refer to One in Four’s prevention services.
Making a Referral
Referrals to One in Four’s prevention programme are accepted for adults who have sexually abused a child, including online offending. We work with people regardless of conviction status, and referrals can be made by criminal justice, social work, probation, and other statutory or voluntary professionals.
Referral Process
Initial Enquiry
Get in touch with the prevention team to clarify whether the programme is appropriate.
Assessment
We carry out a risk assessment to understand needs and readiness for the programme.
Programme Commencement
Where suitable, an intervention plan is set, which may include individual sessions, group work, or Child Sexual Exploitation Material (CSEM) work.
Ongoing Communication
We provide regular updates and liaise with An Garda Siochana, Tusla, and the Probation Service where required.
