We offer support at every stage, including reporting, engaging with Gardaí, and attending court.
Our advocacy team supports survivors through the reporting process. Whether you are considering making a report to Gardaí, preparing for court, or navigating your rights, we’re here to guide you.
How We Support You
Pre-Report Support
Provide space to explore your options, understand what reporting involves, and prepare in a way that feels manageable.
Garda Accompaniment
An advocate can be with you while you make a statement, offering emotional support and guidance throughout.
Court Accompaniment
We can attend court with you, outline what to expect, and provide support before, during, and after hearings.
Rights Information
We can give you clear, accessible guidance on your rights as someone who has experienced crime under Irish and EU law.
Please Note
There is no obligation to report in order to receive support. Whether or not you use advocacy or choose to report is completely up to you. Once no child is at risk, a mandatory report isn’t required.
