Commission of Investigation launches website
The Commission of Investigation into the Handling of Child Sexual Abuse in Schools has launched a website today https://www.commissionofinvestigation.ie/ outlining their work.
One in Four will be providing dedicated participation support to people who are considering taking part in the Commission’s first phase. This phase involves completing a survey on experiences or information related to historical child sexual abuse in schools. A detailed participation guide will be available on the commission’s website when the survey is launched in Autumn 2026.

One in Four welcomes the introduction of the Civil Liability (Child Sexual Abuse Proceedings Against Unincorporated Bodies of Persons) Bill 2025, which is due to be debated in the Dáil this afternoon. The Bill would be another step towards enabling survivors of child sexual abuse to pursue redress from religious orders and other unincorporated bodies.
